Clow Aluglas^® Glassfibre Trade Extension Ladder (Dual & Triple Section - Push Up)

Product Description

Our Clow Aluglas^® Extension Ladder combines strong glassfibre stiles with high strength aluminium 'D' shaped rungs to produce a strong, robust and durable glassfibre extension ladder.

This combination of strong glassfibre sections and heavy duty aluminium rungs produces a high quality electrically insulated ladder. The Aluglas ladder stiles are manufactured from pultruded rectangular box section glass reinforced plastic and are securely fitted with 'D' shaped aluminum rungs which provide a secure and comfortable foot hold.

  Manufactured at our GRP Ladder Production Plant located in the East End of Glasgow.

The Aluglas Ladder complies with the electrical requirements of the  American National ANSI 14.5 Standard. This ladder supports a maximum load of 150kg.

This Aluglas Push Up Operation Extension Ladder is available as both Push Up and Rope Operated Ladders in both 2 part and 3 part extension ladders. The standard manufactured rung pitch or rung spacing for our Aluglas® Ladders is set at 300mm centres. We can also manufacture with a shorter 250mm rung pitch if required - if so please specify the required rung pitch in "comments" when you place your order.

This product is manufactured in compliance with previous EN131-1:2007+A1:2011, EN131-2:2010 and EN131-3:2007 specifications and provides a maximum load of 150kg. Please note these original specifications have now been withdrawn and superceded by EN131-1:2015, EN131-2:2010+A2:2017 and EN131-3:2018 specifications. During the transition period between the old and new standards ladders manufactured to the previous specification are still available while testing and approval of new specification ladders is completed.

Note: Ensure your ladder is long enough for the task at hand - when using a leaning ladder do not stand on the top three rungs to ensure maximum safety and stability. Note that ladders used for access should project at least 1m above the landing point and be tied in to provide a secure handhold.
