Clow Aluglas Ladders feature glassfibre stiles and aluminium rungs and the Single-Section Aluglas Ladder is manufactured in the UK to the same high standards as the Aluglas Glassfibre Extension Ladder.
The combination of high quality glassfibre stiles and aluminium rungs produces a ladder which is strong, lightweight and extremely durable.
The rectangular pultruded box section stiles are manufactured from glass reinforced plastic and are securely fitted with Clow ‘D’ shaped aluminium rungs. These rungs are the same high quality rungs used in the Clow Aluminium Industrial Extension Ladders.
The unique profile of the Clow ‘D’ shaped rung provides a secure and comfortable foot hold on the ladder.
Clow Aluglas Ladders satisfy the electrical requirements of American National ANSI 14.5 providing an electrically insulated ladder.
This product is manufactured in compliance with previous EN131-1:2007+A1:2011, EN131-2:2010 and EN131-3:2007 specifications and provides a maximum load of 150kg. Please note these original specifications have now been withdrawn and superceded by EN131-1:2015,EN131-2:2010+A2:2017 and EN131-3:2018 specifications. During the transition period between the old and new standards ladders manufactured to the previous specification are still available while testing and approval of new specification ladders is completed.
