Constructed with glass-reinforced plastic stiles and non-slip resin matrix glass reinforced rungs Clow Euroglas® these all glassfibre ladders offer the best there is in glassfibre ladder construction.
The all glassfibre Euroglas® ladder is constructed from box section stiles manufactured from glass reinforced plastic, (GRP). The rungs are manufactured from serrated non-slip, resin matrix glass reinforced tubes. The rungs themselves are secured and fully bonded into specially designed box section stiles.
Years of research and development have gone into the design and manufacture of Clow Euroglas® Ladders and this has resulted in a unique rectangular box section ladder stile capable of providing enormous strength together with lightness, safety and durability.
Clow Euroglas® Ladders are manufactured in the UK at our GRP Ladder Factory in the East End of Glasgow.
The all GRP construction of these ladders provides a product which is completely electrically insulated and ideal for use within high voltage environments. The inert properties of glassfibre also make this ladder ideal for use within environments where there is any risk of exposure to chemical agents. Euroglas® Ladders have been tested to the relevant electrical requirements of American ANSI 14.5 and exceed the following electrical tests of ANSI 14.5: AC Dielectric Strength:- the minimum Dieletric Strength allowed is 25,000 volts and Euroglas Ladders surpass this with a minimum Dieletrical Strength of 35,000 volts; DC Current Leakage:- the maximum D.C. Current Leakage when tested at 90,000 volts should be no greater than 90 micro amperes – Euroglas Ladders have been shown to have a DC current leakage of only 60 micro amperes.
With exceptional electrical resistance and a structure with a high degree of weather and chemical resistance Clow Euroglas Ladders offer high quality cost effective solutions within the range of specialist GRP ladders.
These ladders are available as extension type ladders in single, dual and triple section lengths.
This product is manufactured in compliance with previous EN131-1:2007+A1:2011, EN131-2:2010 and EN131-3:2007 specifications and provides a maximum load of 150kg. Please note these original specifications have now been withdrawn and superceded by EN131-1:2015,EN131-2:2010+A2:2017 and EN131-3:2018 specifications. During the transition period between the old and new standards ladders manufactured to the previous specification are still available while testing and approval of new specification ladders is completed.

Note: Ensure your ladder is long enough for the task at hand - when using a leaning ladder do not stand on the top three rungs to ensure maximum safety and stability. Note that ladders used for access should project at least 1m above the landing point and be tied in to provide a secure handhold.
