The Euroglas® ‘Tradesman’ Stepladder is an all fibreglass construction resulting in a lightweight but extremely strong stepladder. Manufactured in the UK at the Clow Glasgow Timber and Glassfibre Ladder Factory this product is made to order.
The broad 170mm top platform depth of this swingback step, combined with the deep 80mm treads, ensures a very safe and stable set of steps. The serrated non-slip treads provide a sure foothold and are glued and riveted to the stepladder stiles for secure fixing.
Because the back legs, braces and diagonals are manufactured from glassfibre these steps are considerably lighter than wooden steps. These stepladders are built to comply with the relevant electrical requirements of the American ANSI 14.5 Standard and safely support a 150kg maximum load.
This product is manufactured in compliance with previous EN131-1:2007+A1:2011, EN131-2:2010 and EN131-3:2007 specifications and provides a maximum load of 150kg. Please note these original specifications have now been withdrawn and superceded by EN131-1:2015, EN131-2:2010+A2:2017 and EN131-3:2018 specifications. During the transition period between the old and new standards ladders manufactured to the previous specification are still available while testing and approval of new specification ladders is completed.
