Product Description

The Clow AEPDABS EN131:Professional Aluminium Builders' Step Ladder is an industrial grade swingback step ladder fully conforming with the European EN131: Professional Standard supporting a safe working load of 150kg.

Constructed using "C" section aluminium stiles with extra wide extruded 85mm deep treads which are double riveted for extra strength. The treads are serrated providing the user with a safe and secure foothold. Rectangular box section rear legs complete with reinforcing cross bars provide a strong and robust frame. The locking stays complete with joining bar provide even greater strength and stability and can be utilised to easily close the step ladder in one movement.

Product Range

Note: ¹ when you count the number of treads on a step you should include the step top or top platform within the tread count.

Note: not all manufacturers treat tread counts or tread heights the same - when you compare steps compare the overall step height not the number of treads as some manufacturers keep tread spacing short.

Note: ensure your step is the correct size for the task at hand - when using a stepladder you should not stand on the top three treads, (including the step at the very top of the ladder), unless there is a suitable handhold. Always maintain three points of contact when climbing the ladder and whenever possible in the work position, (ie. a hand and two feet).
