These Euroglas® Platform Steps have the same high specification as the Clow Euroglas® Swingback Step with the main difference being the large broad fibreglass non-slip standing platform.
Manufactured at our Clow Ladder Factory in Bridgeton in the East End of Glasgow.
This all fibreglass platform step complies with the British ESI 13-1 standard and relevant electrical requirements of the American ANSI 14.5 standard. Safely supports a 150kg maximum load.
The platform size for all sizes of EGPS Platform Steps is 350mm x 495mm x 300mm.
This product is manufactured in compliance with previous EN131-1:2007+A1:2011, EN131-2:2010 and EN131-3:2007 specifications and provides a maximum load of 150kg. Please note these original specifications have now been withdrawn and superceded by EN131-1:2015, EN131-2:2010+A2:2017 and EN131-3:2018 specifications. During the transition period between the old and new standards ladders manufactured to the previous specification are still available while testing and approval of new specification ladders is completed.

Note: 1 when you count the number of treads on a step you should include the step top or top platform within the tread count.
Note: not all manufacturers treat tread counts or tread heights the same - when you compare platform steps compare the overall platform height not the number of treads as some manufacturers keep tread spacing short.
Note: ensure your step is the correct size for the task at hand - when using a stepladder you should not stand on the top three treads, (including the step at the very top of the ladder), unless there is a suitable handhold. Always maintain three points of contact when climbing the ladder and whenever possible in the work position, (ie. a hand and two feet).
* Require a non-standard size or specific tread spacing ? Contact us for more information - we can custom manufacture your ladder to meet your exact specifications.
