Clow Ladder Pole Hoop – Balato Belt

Note: Order along with a ladder to have it manufactured to order and fitted prior to delivery. Alternatively order as a replacement for an existing Balato Belt fitting. (Please advise width between the ladder stiles when ordering as a replacement belt ie: ordered as a replacement this is designed for ladders that have previously had a Belato Belt fitted. The top rung should not be removed from existing ladders to accommodate as this will affect the integrity of the ladder.

When a ladder is to be leant against round posts or poles such as telegraph poles, the Balato Belting Pole Hoop is the perfect solution. It can be fitted to most Aluminium, Glassfibre and Timber ladders. We recommend that the user also purchases the security rope and jamming cleat for added use safety.

 If the belt is attached above the top rung without enough space above and below it, the top rung will still make contact instead of the belt. For this reason we recommend that the belt be used instead of the top rung of the ladder and it should be removed prior to installation of the belt.

When ordering please add a note to indicate the inside dimensions between the ladder stiles, we will need this width to ensure the belt is of the correct length for safe usage.

We can supply this product pre-fitted to most of our ladders - please contact us for further information and advice. Please note, this will involve us making a new ladder with the belt pre-fitted, which can take 7 to 10 working days.
