Ladders-Direct.com local depot in Midlands

In June 1997 the Clow Group Ltd took over two local Midland ladder companies (Timballoy Ladders - manufacturer of timber and aluminium ladders, and Hardlife Ladder Company - successor to LLoyds Ladders and the UK's first aluminium ladder manufacturer), which were merged with WJ Clow (Midlands) and relocated to the Clow Business Park (formerly Boddis Industrial Park) on Garratts Lane in Cradley Heath, West Midlands. As part of their existing workforce the branch still employs two of the original employees from Timballoy Ladders with the remaining staff either from WJ Clow or newly appointed.

Our Midlands depot is our main aluminium manufacturing facility where all our existing ladder ranges are made. It is also responsible for the development of new ladders, specifically in relation to the new EN131 Professional standard.
