To comply with Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) all lifting equipment needs to be subjected to thorough examination by a competent person every 6 or 12 months.

A rotating colour code system allows users to instantly identify when equipment was last examined and whether that equipment is safe to use. Tags should be removed at the next inspection and replaced with the next system colour.
