Examples of specialist ladder products include Marine Rescue Ladders, (designed for permanent water submersion and ideal for use in marinas and harbours), specialist glassfibre roof ladders, (useful for cold weather deployment), surveyors ladders, (designed for the mobile professional, with easy storage in confined spaces such as car boots), and glassfibre access equipment, perfect for on-site work where there is a risk of exposure to chemicals or live electrical current.

Further highly specialised products include FRODAL Ladders, (Fire Resistant Offshore Ladder), which was originally designed for Shell for use in the Brent Oil Field. This product floats in water and is designed to withstand fire - it conforms with BS476 Part7:1989 Fire Test for Building Materials.

Overhead Line Rescue Ladders are another highly specialised product - designed and manufactured for the National Grid, these ladders offer extremely safe electrical insulation and are used to allow live line working on pylons.
