High Quality Aluminium Retailers Step Ladder

The Retailers Step, as used by many high street stores, is specifically designed for use within retail organisations - it's high quality construction, strength and robustness make this step ideal for use within retail environments, shops and retail departments.


The all aluminium construction means this step is lightweight yet extremely strong. Each heavy duty tread of this step ladder is additionally reinforced by means of a high strength aluminium ladder rung fixed beneath each of the step treads. This method of construction provides an exceptionally strong and robust stepladder.


Every step is fitted with a kneerail, white rubber feet and 3'' diameter rubber tyred wheels as standard.


Conforming with Class 1 BS2037 Ladder Certification the step will safely support a Maximum Static Vertical Load of 175kg - however the high quality specification of this step means that the Retailers Step will comfortably support a Maximum Static Vertical Load of over 200kg.


The Retailers Step is available in sizes ranging from 4 to 13 tread - all sizes feature a double handrail as standard with the exception of the specialist two tread Foodhall Step and three tread Window Dressers Step which, due to their sizes, are not fitted with handrails. The Window Dressers Step features an extra wide tread which is ideal for visual merchandising purposes. Please note that the relative sizes of platform steps are often specified by their tread count - platform steps traditionally count the main platform as a tread. The very top section of a platform step, (above the main platform), is excluded from the tread count. For example a two tread platform step consists of one tread plus the main platform, (as per the image on the right of the 2 Tread DCPS Foodhall Step).
