Aluminium Light Trade Platform Step to European Standard EN131
These lightweight aluminium platform steps are suitable for commercial and light trade work. Certified to European Standard EN131 they are rated with a safe static load of 150kg.
This EPS platform step features a handrail for added safety and additional safety straps which are engaged whenever the step is opened. The step platform locks into place by simply pressing down on the platform surface when the step is opened.
These lightweight steps offer a good degree of comfort and safety due to the ribbed surface and broad 80mm depth of the platform treads.
This platform step comes with a full 5 year guarantee valid from the date of purchase.
Please note that the relative sizes of platform steps are often specified by their tread count - platform steps traditionally count the main platform as a tread. The very top section of a platform step, (above the main platform), is excluded from the tread count. For example a four tread platform step consists of three treads plus the main platform, (as per the image on the right showing the EPS4 Platform Step).
