How To Buy Making a purchase on our website is easy and straightforward. Please browse the site and add any items you wish to buy into your shopping basket. After you have finished shopping, just click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete your order.
If you prefer not to order online you can contact one of our Sales Offices directly to place your order or enquiry - please telephone 0845 130 6272, (UK Local Rate Telephone Call), to be put straight through to your local Sales Office. Order Acceptance We reserve the right to accept or decline any order placed on the ladders-direct.com website. Order acceptance is confirmed when we send a full VAT invoice to the invoice/delivery address. This invoice is sent separately by post at the time of despatch. This term is included in case a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product. E&OE. |

Goods are despatched on our Standard Delivery Service which is a 2 - 3 Day Delivery Service.

To reduce the cost of delivery charges, goods can be collected from any of our depots around the UK and Ireland. In this instance please telephone your order through to your local Sales Office Depot. Please click Contact Us on the above menu for details of your nearest local depot. |
Delivery Schedule Where possible, we always endeavour to ship your orders the same day they are received.
We hold stock around the UK and Ireland on the vast majority of our products. However please note that our timber products, (and some specialist glassfibre products such as Aluglas and Euroglas), are made to order and therefore may involve a longer lead time. Please allow approximately 10 working days for custom manufactured items. If you require a faster delivery than this please contact us and we will do our best to expedite your order. We will always keep you up to date on your order's progress - if we are unable to meet your requirements we are happy to revise your order as required.
You must inform us in writing within 48 hours if goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received. |
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will place the item on back order for you. We will always email you with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. |
Pricing and Payment All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and both VAT inclusive and VAT exclusive prices are shown. The VAT Rate charged for UK orders is 20% VAT.
Online orders are currently accepted for delivery within mainland UK only. We accept payment by credit and debit card and accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, Visa Debit and Solo. UK users outwith the UK mainland, (eg. Islands), please contact you nearest sales office to place an order and arrange delivery, (please see Contact Us above for office locations). Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
Any goods returned must be in saleable condition.
