The Deluxe Concertina Loft Ladder is a high quality loft access ladder manufactured from die-cast aluminium alloy components.
The high strength of the aluminium alloy components means that this loft ladder is strong, reliable and secure. Manufactured to DIN 4570, with a load bearing per tread of 200kgs, the quality of build also ensures that this ladder has very low maintenance requirements.
The standard tread width is 350mm wide with a tread depth of 140mm, (non-standard widths can also be supplied on request). The ladder is supplied with two heavy duty counter-balanced springs which are incorporated into pivot brackets allowing the ladder to be raised and lowered with minimum effort.
The ladder is supplied attached to a laminated wood back board (580mm wide x 200mm deep x 19mm thick) which must be cut to fit neatly into the end of the loft opening. For fitting to a vertical surface the ladder can be fitted with a factory fitted accessory hinge.
